[JessFinds] Wanda & Medical Mutterings

I am going in for an ultrasound in about an hour and I am not looking forward to it. In addition to a number of odd malady's that have struck in my 30's, I have inherited menorrhagia! I bleed for a good 15-16 days out of any given month which is downright wrong. Nothing should bleed for that long and not die (thank you South Park). Initially the docs thought it was related to my Hashimoto's Disease, but it is not getting any better. So I have an appointment with the dread wand and a few buckets of water that I still need to drink. My mother had a hysterectomy in her 30's for similar reasons. They don't do many hysterectomy's these days.

I have a fibroid in my uterus that was discovered during my first pregnancy about 5 years ago. Methinks this be the underlying cause. I grow fibroids that make doctors jumpy. I am fibroidtastic.

I am a freak of nature. I look forward to getting all of this behind me.

Anyway, this appointment may put me on the path to curing yet another oddball ailment. Fortunately I come from hearty stock.

I had a lengthy response... and then Google ate it. So, the shorter version is: let us know how it goes! Sending good thoughts.
