We have our first bloom of the pond! You will see a bamboo stick in the photo, that is the "escape route" for the chipmunks that have taken up residence in the rock wall surrounding the pond. Courtesy of Preacher. We thought about putting up a "no jumping" sign with a toll free phone number but you know how chipmunks and literacy mesh.
We stopped the carnage at two suicides. The pond has been without a jumper for a month now and we hope to keep it that way.
