I snuggled up with my 4 year old daughter and watched Barack Obama become the 44th President of the United States. Gonzo was taking a nap, but we are pretty sure we will be able to tell her about it.
It was amazing, sitting there with a rapt preschooler asking all sorts of questions. She was excited. She could sense something big. Her Something Big was that two little girls were getting to move in to the White House!
She asked me if George Bush was mad that he had to leave. She asked me if he would give Obama the house keys. She announced that she was pretty sure Yo Yo Ma was Chinese.
