So in an odd spur of the moment decision (of which I was barely involved, actually not really involved at all) it appears that we are indeed heading Out West to visit the friends and family. A full two weeks. I just promised to be available for work because we were not going to head off on a big trip. Whoops. Guess I will need to revise that. I will still have a laptop and access to email, so it should not be a big issue.
It is funny though, I never really feel like we have a vacation when we do these trips! I think we will couch hop for a week (always fun with a family of 4) and then try to spend a week in one spot.
