(JessFinds) The Oldest Dermatologist on the Island

I just had a once-over by my new dermatologist. Hmm. A lot of my posts seem medical. That is not intentional. Anyway, my new dermatologist is 400 years old with a twitch and a glassy stare. I go get my skin checked out about once a year - although it has been more than 2 years since my last check. In case you had not noticed, I am very (VERY) pale. Sun damage runs in my family. I have had at least 8-9 moles removed and over a dozen skin tags removed in the last ten years. Always benign. But I am covered in little scars.

This time, the doctor was unimpressed with my moles and recommended a "pretty soap" I could find on the Internet that I would "sell my family in to slavery over."  Seriously.  That was my skin care recommendation. Soap and water. Derm Docs in Beverly Hills are screeching Nooooooooo!

We have a pond in our back yard. Intentional "water feature." Preacher and Miss Crab built a very nice rock wall around it. There are two koi-like goldfish in our little pond. Miss Crab loves them.

I still want my kitchen finished, but the pond is pretty cute.

Pregnancy is in the air - I have three pregnant friends right now! I love it. It gives me an excuse to look at the itty-bitty stuff again. My girls are no longer itty. Or bitty. They are just little. One of my friends is pregnant with twins (TWINS!) and I am so excited for her. She is the second person I know who is having twins after having 2 kids.
